BCom(Hons)

Antoine is a financial economist currently pursuing a PhD in Climate Finance at Curtin University.  His research combines asset pricing, market microstructure, and behavioural models to explore how financial markets can effectively allocate resources to support the transition to a low-carbon economy. By examining the impact of climate-related risks and opportunities on investment decisions, his research provides valuable insights into the integration of genuine environmental considerations into financial decision-making. This process involves evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability metrics, assessing the reliability of green investment claims, and identifying gaps and inconsistencies in environmental reporting.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Antoine is actively engaged in organising community initiatives. Antoine recognises the importance of environmental responsibility and the power of collective action. He has been involved in various projects within local communities around the world as he strives to bridge the gap between academia and society.

Antoine’s interest in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge-sharing stems from his longstanding roles at Curtin University, where he is an active participant in conferences and workshops to exchange ideas with experts from diverse backgrounds. By staying at the forefront of the latest research and developments in his field, Antoine aims to make meaningful contributions to a future where finance serves as a catalyst for environmental and social progress.
